I am available for live events in Dallas and surrounding areas, offering services such as calligraphy, engraving, painting, leather foiling, debossing, and pyrography. In-studio personalization commissions are also available for private projects, PR gifting, and influencer promotions.

Hand engraving is one of my most requested and loved service by clients! Glass, perfume, wine bottles, stone, and most metal and plastic surfaces can be personalized with calligraphy hand engraving while customers watch. My professional equipment is quiet and portable. Engraving can take anywhere between 2-5 minutes per item, (depending on the length of the personalization request) and includes the wax fill application for a pop of color, if desired.

What is hand engraving?

I am able to paint a small floral design on the front of the bottle in 10 minutes or less using high quality and fast drying acrylic paint. Full designs can take slightly longer, approx. 15-20 min,, depending on the design. I offer different design options that can be completed in a fairly short amount of time. Perfect for on-the-go clients.

How long is the bottle painting process?

My preference is to use a traditional pointed pen & ink on note cards, place cards, & other stationery, but it does depend on the type of event & volume.  Paint pens or brush pens may be used.  For other surfaces & materials such as leather or vegan leather surfaces, a wood burner or heat foiling pen is used. But again, the process is dependent on the item & event type, ie: high volume, low volume, etc.

On-site rate starts at $800 (plus tax) for up to four hours, and depends on the event type (ie: high volume).  A travel fee may apply, depending on the location.

Yes!  In advance of your special events, I offer in-studio commissions for press kit gifting or welcoming your esteemed guests. I create custom place cards, notecards, product personalization for influencer gifting, including calligraphy engraving on glassware, fragrances, beauty products, or fine spirits.

Should I (the client) supply the materials or Do you supply them? 

As the vendor, I do not typically supply the items to be personalized.  However, I am happy to provide guidance on suitable materials if needed.  

Is there a maximum number of items you can engrave for an event? 

The total of items that can be engraved during a 4 hour event is approximately 100-150, depending on the item and complexity of the engraving.  If you have a specific number of items in mind or target range, we can discuss your expectations and I'll do my best to accommodate your needs within the given timeframe. For high volume events, I recommend adding on an additional artist(s). 

how will I know if more than one engraving artist is needed for my event? 

If your event has over 200 guests, it is recommended to have more than one engraving artist. This will help improve the flow of traffic, reduce lines, waiting times, & to ensure that each guest receives a customized item, contributing to a positive experience for everyone.  The booking process can be facilitated through me, and I can coordinate with my local talented network to bring the desired number of additional artists & ensure a seamless & enjoyable experience for your guests. 

is a deposit required?  what are the payment terms?

A 50% retainer is required to secure your date.  The payment terms are as follows: Pay in full or 50% of the invoice total.  Dates cannot be held unless an invoice is paid (minimum 50%) and/or a contract is signed.  The invoice balance is due on the event date.

what are your set-up requirements? 

The following is required for set-up:
  • Table & chair.
  • An electrical outlet or extension cord to power equipment & lighting (depending on the services being performed).
  • Adequate lighting is preferred to ensure optimal working conditions.

These basic requirements help ensure a smooth and efficient live calligraphy experience at your event. If you have specific preferences or constraints regarding the setup, please let me know in advance, and I'll do my best to accommodate them.

do you travel?

Yes!  An additional fee for any events outside of the Dallas area will apply to cover mileage, travel expenses, and, if necessary, flight and hotel accommodations for out-of-state or overnight stays. The specific details of the travel fee can be discussed and outlined in our agreement to ensure transparency and clarity regarding any associated costs.
